Ratna Pathak Shah, an alumna of the National School of Drama, New Delhi, has played leading parts in more than 50 plays in English, Hindustani and Gujarati, and has directed ‘A Walk In the Woods’, a play on the Indo- Pak relationship for Motley Mumbai, a theatre company of which she is a founder member. She also acted in more than 10 long-running serials, several critically acclaimed series and more than 25 movies. She is part of the core team of the Avehi-Abacus Project, an NGO producing Teaching - Learning kits for children.
