The Book in Focus contest at Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest celebrates readers and their love for great stories. This year, participants turn to Marjane Satrapi’s Persepolis, a powerful coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of revolution and war, exploring themes of identity, freedom, family and belonging.

A short story & poetry writing contest where winners will get to interact with authors from around the world, and have their work featured in the festival brochure.

Weaving Between The Lines, a creative writing contest, is held by Literature Live! on college campuses. Simply an endeavor of love
for words by the students, the venues this year were  Jai Hind College, Churchgate, and MMK College, Bandra. Participants were
provided with a set of first and last few words through which they had to weave their poetry and story. 

 Read the creativity of these young writers, many of them first timers who are thrilled to see their work in public domain!

The Bookster Programme brings together a vibrant group of young readers (ages 11–18) from across India to spend three days at Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest, engaging with stories, conversations, and ideas that celebrate the world of books.
