In this session, three writers talk about the deep and abiding relationship that they have with the environment and their concern that the overall human-environment relationship is becoming more tenuous. All three bring to the session different literary disciplines. Bela Negi’s short stories are set in the Himalayas, Ranjit Hoskote is the editor of a recently published anthology of essays on climate change, and Amulya Bhat is a playwright, spoken word poet and participant at the Macondo Festival in Nairobi.
