We are taught that truth is universal, it is singular and unchallengeable. That truth is not subjective, but empirical and knowable. The only exception we make is for writers and artists, who we celebrate for their ability to draw us into imaginary worlds. Truth, however, is not static; it changes as we make new discoveries and understand our world better.
