A former advertising professional, Asad Lalljee is Senior Vice President of the Essar Group, CEO of Avid Learning - one of India’s leading arts and culture public programming platforms under the Essar Group - and has been the Curator of the Royal Opera House, Mumbai, since 2016. Asad is on the board of FICCI’s Tourism and Culture Committee, which has convened multi-stakeholder conferences in Mumbai and Bengaluru to democratise the arts; on the Kala Ghoda Association’s Executive Committee, and on the Executive Committee of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage’s (INTACH) Greater Mumbai Chapter for 2026/27. He specializes in new media, curating programmes around NFTs and the cyberfuture.
