'Pulse - An Anthology of Contemporary Spanish Poetry' is a carefully crafted collection of poems translated into English, Hindi and Marathi. It brings together the work of ten Spanish poets born between 1960 and 1995, each with a distinctive voice while also reflecting the thematic, aesthetic and personal diversity that has characterised the Spanish poetry landscape in recent decades. The anthology includes poetry originally written in Spanish as well as in three of Spain’s co-official languages: Basque, Catalan and Galician.

One of the featured poets is Miriam Reyes, recipient of Spain’s National Poetry Award 2025, who will participate in the Festival alongside the Indian translators of the anthology.

The event is part of the Spain–India Dual Year and is organised by Instituto Cervantes New Delhi and the Embassy of Spain in India, in collaboration with the Sub-Directorate General for International Relations and the European Union of the Spanish Ministry of Culture.
