Shivji and Einstein

Albert Einstein, accompanied by Niels Bohr, walked through the troubled streets of America, reflecting on humanity’s future. Einstein feared that another great war could devastate civilization so completely that, after a fourth war, humanity might be reduced to fighting with sticks and stones. He also warned that those who remained silent in the face of injustice shared responsibility for its consequences.

Soon afterward, Einstein suffered a fatal illness and was taken to hospital. Despite the doctors’ efforts, he died, leaving his family in grief. Yet death proved to be only a passage. Einstein awoke in a mysterious realm where countless souls gathered before celestial judgment.

In the Jewish Hall, HaShem welcomed the newly departed and gave them a choice: return to Earth or continue toward heaven. Recognizing Einstein’s extraordinary mind, HaShem asked him what he desired. Einstein chose a land where faith, spirituality, and humanity could exist together. HaShem directed him toward India.

Before his rebirth, Einstein was asked to choose among Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. He chose Shivji, declaring that he wished to follow Mahadev. His soul was taken toward Mount Kailash, where Shivji welcomed him and spoke of India’s spiritual heritage—the land of Buddha, Krishna, and the Bhagavad Gita. Shivji then ordered Nandi to prepare Einstein’s soul for mortal birth.

As Einstein’s soul began its journey toward Earth, Narad Muni learned of the plan and informed Krishna in Vrindavan. Krishna became concerned. Einstein had been a solitary thinker, and Krishna wondered whether such a mind could truly find belonging in India’s deeply connected social and spiritual world.

Krishna therefore went to Kailash and asked Shivji to stop the rebirth. The two divine beings considered the problem. Finally, Krishna proposed another solution: he would merge his own divine essence with Einstein’s unborn form.

As Krishna entered the embryo, visions of humanity, righteousness, suffering, genius, devotion, and sacrifice flooded the developing soul. The experiences of legendary figures became part of a consciousness that united scientific reasoning with spiritual insight. Shivji declared that Krishna lives within every life.

The child was eventually born to Urvashi and Amesh. Heaven seemed to celebrate his arrival, while the family rejoiced. On Kailash, Shivji smiled and decided to visit the newborn himself.

Disguised as an old wandering sadhu, Shivji arrived at the family’s home and asked for alms. When Urvashi told him that a son had been born, he asked to bless the child. She brought the newborn to him.

Shivji gazed upon the baby, seeing within him a remarkable union of science, divinity, and destiny. Secretly, he touched the child’s tiny feet, and for a moment even time seemed to stand still.

Then Shivji vanished, returning to Kailash.

Thus began the life of a unique child—carrying Einstein’s spirit of scientific inquiry.
