Some among us are born with the subtle inheritances of memories from our forefathers and the lands they inhibited. Between native tongues, traditions and cross-continental drifts, those memories are enriched into fresher perspectives, turning into stories that are half-truth, half-imagined and lyrically realized. In this session, the authors will discuss the lines between inherited conditionings and new identities, and how people across the world carry these weights until it all turns as light as fiction, as intense as pressing realities. Crafting the elusive past while settling scores with the present – where do the memory-driven progenies find redemption, and how many ways can such stories be told?
