signings are a site for optimism. As long as there are readers, there will be writers, or should we say it the other way around?

An enriching and invigorating experience, this initiative has inspired many budding young writers to write and publish their books on prose and poetry

The Little Festival.....where books are a lot of fun! aims to celebrate the world of children’s books and creating literary spaces for children under 14
years of age It replicates the main festival with a small difference- some of the moderators are young school going avid readers
In 2010 Anil Dharker launched Literature Live! to create a literary space in Mumbai for intellectual and cultural discourses through the written word Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest celebrated its 15th edition in 2024. Held at NCPA, the iconic venue by the sea, the festival features over 120 writers from over 15 countries every year Literature Live! Evenings is a monthly event, focusing on book launches and conversations through the year. For authors to interact exclusively with students in college classrooms Literature Live! 360@Campus was initiated and soon The Little Festival ….where books are a lot of fun became part of the Literature Live! family At the recently rechristened Anil Dharker Literature Live! Independence Lecture several eminent voices of India are invited to deliver a talk on the Idea of India held every August since 2013.
