Waiting For The Weekend!

Waiting for the weekend!
The clock strikes nine,
The Rickshaw is on time,
To the office I fly,
The tasks are all mine,
Deadline?
I guess the weekend is fine!
The fingers stretched across the keyboard,
The only yoga that I perform,
Glancing at my screen once a while,
Oh, that new cafe?
I guess the weekend is fine!
Today was Monday,
So five more days to go,
Gosh! The weekend was a while ago,
Mentally, into the blanket I slipped,
Oh, today's anniversary dinner?
I guess the weekend is fine!
Shivering in the middle of may,
The sneeze has no mind to sway,
But the excels are not up-to-date,
Tasks are piling everyday,
To the doctor?
I guess the weekend is fine!
Catching up with some old friends,
Family dinner at a nice restaurant,
Shopping for the shoes that's torn,
Or visiting the doctor's for that sore throat,
Nothing bothers a corporate man,
So I guess, the weekend is fine!
