Spirit of Mumbai!

Poetry
The morning alarm rings,
And Mumbaikar flap their wings.
Everything is on time,
Just like a poem's perfect rhyme.
It starts with a cup of tea in one hand,
And a newspaper with social tea on the other,
Mornings are the only time they see each other.
The cooker whistles, the toaster pops, and then the doors are locked,
Responsibility steps out & Passion stays inside feeling mocked.
Then they catch a train in the drizzle of rain,
Find a spot to stand and relax the brain.
Travelling is the time to dream,
To build a virtual team.
Where you play to win!
Station comes, and the dreams end,
Routine starts to unfold and dreams bend.
Mundane Monday to Thank God it's Friday,
Life is stuck in a loop, but Mumbaikar's celebrate each day!
Surviving the hustle is an art,
Hustle is our DNA's part.
This city has a big heart.
It embraces everyone from Food Square to D-Mart.
Not just an economic capital, it's an entertainment centre too,
where culture breathes, literature lightens, theatre roars and cinema has its permanent address.
The Arabian Sea on one side and the sea of Mumbaikar's on the other,
This city holds the warmth of a mother,
Fierceness of a father and soulfulness of a sibling!
This city feels like home, and comes across as a bling!
