Ode To The Blossoms

Ishika Mahato

Poetry

Oh, delicate light—
where have you bloomed?
Are you hiding in petals,
pulled by unseen winds,
or resting softly in the hands
of dreaming hearts asleep?

Are you sleeping under the crown,
waiting for the leaves to fall,
or dancing across dandelions,
leaving all to fate?
Do you hide in the fragrance of memories,
or in the glow of dusk?

I wandered for you
through gardens of fleeting joy,
across whispering rivers,
through meadows painted with sunlight,
across heavy hills of sorrow,
and thorned paths of grief,
through seasons that bloom and fade—

Until at last,
I found you flowering
quietly, endlessly,
within myself…
and perhaps,
within you too.
