My periodic ties life experience

Teaching, a pleasure to be among the budding scientists, the inquisitive mind, the exploring brain and to develop their overall personality.
Here is one anecdote from my activity-oriented approach to bring in real life applications into the classroom : “My periodic ties “is the punch line I would highlight in the IYPT 2019 also commemorates the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. While introducing atoms and elements to my Grade 8 students who were jumping with enthusiasm, I handed over a copy of colorful periodic table to them and named the youngest lightest in the group as hydrogen – lightest element and grouped them according to the periodic table ,linked the behavior of elements to our survival skills and natural behavior.
Atoms are a bundle of joyful to move explore and rearrange to the environment as kids are full of energy and can be easily molded at the right age to explore and evolve a great human being. To highlight the contribution of scientists towards society we link real life to the scientist’s discovery. Every element discovery has its own history and life story of the scientist. They have been honored by naming elements on place of discovery as well as person who discovered it.
Dalton atoms of elements are of same kind bond together, when we associate together with people of similar nature, we can achieve great heights together. Every atom contains protons, electrons and the neutrons, a combination of positive and negative, the neutrality in us guides us to be grounded and stable and can bring about a major change .Quote MK Gandhi “ Be the change you like to see in the world around you”
Döbereiner triads were about a group of three elements whose properties were similar to each other. Like the triads combination of lighter and heavier moments in our lives enhances the balancing act to form groups that enable us to perform and react to environment around us.
Mendeleev organized elements to work out the atomic mass of the missing elements and predict their properties. His life events with experience to handle situations with limited resources, face challenges to find an amicable solution and the missing would be filled up in the future with relevant answers.
New lands octaves links In the Indian system of music and the west notations . Life is like musical notes with some high notes, low notes , pattern of repetitive situations and enjoy life as one grand sweet song. The transition elements are typical examples of how we behave during moments of turbulence yet don’t lose our originality. Caught between the metals and nonmetals the metalloids are the most useful elements with a flexible nature. Like atoms are the fundamental real happiness of life lies within us. Let’s start the music and dance to the rhythm of life as electrons dance when exposed to high frequency . Let’s catch them young and transfer humane values .
