A Moth that yearns for rain

A Moth that yearns for rain
Is like a Fish that yearns for drain
What must've caused it to dislike light
And seek refuge in pain?
"Ah, the light burnt me!" it says,
Blistering were the embers, scorching hot were the flames,
Indebted to its own nature and;
So does it pays.
It has grown fond of the drops,
The heat screams;
While the water just talks.
The cold let's it rest for once,
And not flap the wings again.
Could be so the moth lies to itself?
Could the silence be a cry for help?
Masquerading to fool others but only itself it plays.
It reminisces about those weeks,
As a caterpillar it munched on leaves
Inevitable spares no one
And so it was subjected to change.
Glee it is, to finally see the light.
Traversed the whole world just to find the flame inside,
Carrying the torch into the new voyage
That is at the same place.
Now it is perched besides a red song bird
Seeing soaked trees marching away in the plains.
Is it not, an outrageous thought?
Almost like A moth that yearns for rain...
