Sarnath Banerjee

Graphic Novelist, India

Sarnath Banerjee has written six books of graphic fiction, including ‘Corridor’, ‘All Quiet in Vikaspuri’, and ‘Harappa Files’. His latest, ‘Absolutely Jafar’, is published in 2026. His works have been collected by various museums and shown in several biennials. His billboard project, ‘Gallery of Losers’, was commissioned by the London Olympics. Banerjee has taught at the University der Kunst, been a Belknap fellow at Princeton University and a CAST fellow at MIT. He is currently working on a visual history of mosquitoes and their challenge to the British Empire.
