Paula Fourie is an author, poet and playwright who holds a PhD in musicology from Stellenbosch University. Her debut poetry collection, ‘Inked in Bone’, appeared in 2026 with Granta. She is also the author of ‘Mr Entertainment: The Story of Taliep Petersen’ and ‘Translating Swiss Theatre in Apartheid South Africa’, and the co-author with Athol Fugard of ‘Concerning the Life of Babyboy Kleintjies’.
