Mazda Turel

Mazda Turel is an internationally trained neurosurgeon who completed his MBBS at the Grant Medical College, Mumbai and an MCh in neurosurgery at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, where he was awarded the rare Jacob Chandy gold medal. He has lectured and taught globally and written numerous scientific papers as well as popular columns for various publications. ‘Bheja Fry’ is his first book, where he writes about understanding illness not just as a medical condition but as a test of resilience, identity and the human spirit.
