Harinder Baweja is the author of ‘They Will Shoot You Madam: My Life Through Conflict’. A senior journalist, she has been reporting for over four decades with a particular emphasis on conflict. Her journey has taken her through the battlefield of Punjab and onwards to insurgency-ridden Jammu and Kashmir. She has also mapped various crises in Pakistan and was in Afghanistan when the Taliban first rode into Kabul in 1996.
