Frank Njugi is a writer and journalist from Naivasha, Kenya. He is currently a writer in residence at Princeton University's Africa World Initiative and is scheduled to take up a residency at Chateau d'Orquevaux International Artists & Writers Residency in the Ardennes, France, in 2027. He has won and been shortlisted for several international awards. He was awarded the 2024 Jay Lit Prize for Non-fiction. Njugi is an alumnus of the Nairobi Writing Academy, a 2024 African Writers Trust Residency Fellow, and a 2024 and 2025 International Literary Seminar Fellow. He was also selected for the 2026 cohort of the Macondo Literary Festival's TBI Residency.
