Cyriac Abby Philips - popularly known as "The Liver Doc" - is a Hepatologist and Clinician-Scientist at Rajagiri Hospital, Kochi, South India, and an influential science communicator. He is a leading global published researcher on liver injury due to alternative medicines, and a diligent public-health advocate. In the cause of dismantling what he believes to be medical misinformation and pseudoscience, he has faced numerous litigations. He received the 2025 (British) Ockham Award for skeptical activism.
