Soon after the launch of Literature Live! it’s founder director Anil Dharker decided that the celebration of ‘the word’ should not be just a once -a- year activity, but something that goes on through the year which saw the carving of an independent entity -Literature Live! Evenings with book launches, panel discussions and invigorating conversations.

An eclectic list of authors feature in the list of LL! which take place in the city at several venues- iconic cultural centres ( NCPA) books stores, college campuses and art galleries, bringing as it were, the city together for a common cause, books! Such informal evenings have a heady concoction of opinions, philosophies, culture, aesthetics and ideas that challenge the status quo, give wings to imagination and calm the restless mind. Interactions on these platforms are always lively and insightful. Both the writer and the audience leave with a quiver full of heartfelt gratitude for an evening well spent.
