As a journalist, what Harshikaa Udasi enjoys the most is uncovering the story behind the news. Her stories for children largely dwell on the blurred lines between fact and fiction. She has written the award-winning ‘Kittu’s Very Mad Day’ and ‘Friends Behind Walls’, as well as the series ‘Inspiring Tales from Indian History’, among others. Her latest book is about the life of Maharana Pratap. She has also contributed to several anthologies. Harshikaa runs Book Trotters Collaborative through which she runs reading spaces for schools, mentorship programmes for educators, and also a book club for children.
