Fiona Fernandez is a writer, researcher and Associate Editor at the Mumbai newspaper Mid-day. Through her reportage and weekly newspaper column, Bombaynama, she deep-dives into its cultural and local history. As an extension to her passion, she curates intimate walks and sessions on heritage awareness. Her recent book, ‘H for Heritage: Mumbai’, is a tribute to the city’s rich, layered fabric. The first in a series, it travels next to Kolkata. She has also authored ‘Bombay Meri Jaan’ and ‘Ten Heritage Walks of Mumbai’, and co-wrote ‘The Mumbai Factfile’. She has also contributed to several anthologies.
