Soni Razdan trained in acting at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began her career on British television, appearing in among others Padosi, BBC 2’s first Hindi-language soap. Returning to India in the 1980s, she worked in theatre with Satyadev Dubey and Pearl Padamsee before transitioning to film. Her acclaimed films include 36 Chowringhee Lane, Mandi, Saaransh, Khamosh. Having acted in over 45 films, her recent projects include Out of Love, Call My Agent: Bollywood, and Pippa, for which she received a Best Supporting Actress award. She has also directed films Girvi and Nazar, and is currently developing her next feature film.
