After graduating from the first batch of NIFT and winning an award in excellence in dress design Rashmi Mehta branched out into children’s clothing. After a course in curriculum planning and recognising children with learning disabilities, she wrote her first book under a pseudonym. She has writes children’s books and has co-authored a book teaching children oral hygiene with Dr Shalini Pradhan. Her other passion for cooking - resulted in  her owning a successful pizzeria.
