Mayuri Rege believes science begins with curiosity and grows through experimentation. A biologist at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, TIFR, she mentors students through the Biology Olympiad and NIUS programs, helping them explore questions that don’t fit neatly into textbooks. Trained in molecular biology in the US, she returned to India to build spaces where inquiry thrives - from leading an award-winning iGEM team at Ruia College to co-founding Aamchi Prayogshaala, which brings hands-on science to underserved schools.
