Alumnus of NID Ahmedabad and College of Art, Delhi University, Kavita has several years of experience in children's content creation, animation filmmaking and transmedia art practice. As a children's book author and illustrator, she has several titles to her credit (featuring on the Parag Honour Lists 2020, 2023 and 2024; winning awards such as the Darshana National Book Award, and Ministry of Culture North Macedonia Cultural Grant). Known for her vibrant art style, her work encompasses illustration, painting and film design. She is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Design at Vidyashilp University.
