The Binod Kanoria Awards for Children's Literature recognises the talent that exists in the world of writing for children. Spanning five categories: Early Readers, Middle Grade, Young Adults, Illustrators and Hindi Literature for children, the award was instituted in honour of Binod Kanoria, an industrialist who loved children and books. The award celebrates both the love of reading among children and literature for the young ones.
