Yang Shuang-zi is a Taiwanese author of fiction, essays, manga scripts, and criticism. Her works often explore Taiwan’s history, food culture, and relationships between women. Named a Rising Star by Wenshun and listed among Unitas’s Top 20 Novelists - two of Taiwan’s most important literary magazines - she was the youngest nominee for the United Daily News Literary Award. Her acclaimed novel Taiwan Travelogue won Taiwan’s Golden Tripod Award and, in translation, Japan’s Best Translation Award and the 75th National Book Award for Translated Literature in the United States.
