Sandeep Unnithan is Editor-in-Chief of Chakra News an independent digital news organisation. He hosts the Sandeep Unnithan Show, a weekly podcast on defence and geopolitics. He is also a consulting editor with the India Today Group’s digital and TV platforms. Sandeep has 30 years of experience as a journalist across The Indian Express, India Today and TV9 Networks. He was Editor, News9 Plus, India’s first OTT news app. He has authored numerous research papers which have been published in defence think tanks. Sandeep has written Black Tornado: The Three Sieges Of Mumbai 26/11 and co-authored Operation X, an authentic account of a covert unit run by naval intelligence during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. He  advocates indigenously designed, developed and manufactured weapons.
