A particle physicist, K. Sridhar lived in Mumbai and worked at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research before moving to Bangalore to work at the Azim Premji University. Other than 150 research articles in physics, he has published a book, Brane Worlds and Extra Dimensions, in the prestigious Cambridge Mathematical Monographs Series and an edited a volume, Breaking the Silo: Integrated Science Education in India. He publishes articles in philosophy and the visual arts. He is the author of two novels: Twice Written and most recently Ajita, which was published in January 2025.
