Dhamini Ratnam is a journalist based in Delhi/Mumbai, who writes on the politics of gender, sexuality, art and culture through a queer feminist lens. She has 17 years of experience as an editor and writer and has worked in news organisations like Mint, Hindustan Times, Mumbai Mirror and Mid-Day. She has won the SOPA for Human Rights reporting and a Global Investigative Journalists' Conference fellowship. She has taught in a village school in Doda, and done research on the social history of Section 377. She is the co-editor of an upcoming anthology on contemporary queer writings from India.
