Amrita Mahale is the author of the novels Real Life and Milk Teeth, which was longlisted for the JCB Prize for Literature and shortlisted for the Crossword Book Award for Fiction. By day, Amrita works in the AI for social impact space, developing and implementing human-centered technologies for public health. She was trained as an aerospace engineer at IIT Bombay and Stanford University.
