Who am I?

Poetry
Who am I?
I am nature.
What am I?
I am a woman.
Why am I?
I am the balance.
Being a human,
And a female species,
There is something more to me.
I have a soul,
That is my core.
I have conscience,
To tell me my role.
Appearances, color, caste, and creed,
Don't know why it matters,
For the whole of my kind.
When I can bear life.
You want to own me,
But not love me.
You want to abuse me,
And not free me.
A mother, sister, wife,
You see me in different roles,
But why do you forget,
That I am an entity.
I feed you, then why abuse me?
I protect you, then why cage me?
I am your dreams, then why lust after me?
I am your past, present, and future, then why destroy me?
Don't judge my tears of compassion,
They are not my weakness.
My physical power is incomparable,
Pain is my strength.
I am a double-edged sword,
Love and hate alike.
I can rise like a Phoenix,
From the ashes to be your doom.
I am nature,
I am a woman.
But you must not forget,
I am here for a reason,
And not to be trampled upon,
For I am...my creator's hands.
I am the...NATURE!
I am a...WOMAN!
I am the...BALANCE!
