What is it that stirs within me…

What is it that stirs within you
A desire to last an eternity
Yes life is beautiful
The drama’s nice too
We’d love it to go through and through
The will to live is true, is true
While this body may leave
There will always be ‘me’ in spirit
And the soul will certainly find its mate too
With understanding more and more
Can there be another baby blue?
Is that what we’re looking for,
To love ourselves through and through
The mate who loves us
The child whom we love as ourselves
And more and more
Nothing could come between us we assume
But something does
And what might that be
But our own desire in conflict with the wisdom true
That the contrast of what is, just builds us blue
What we have is never enough
Contentment is what we want
Containment is what we need
Life just is
In the moment
Here and now
This is it.
