The Most Beautiful Creation

When God created the earth, He also created the standard of beauty. The mountains stand tall in their majesty, the endless oceans crash in waves and the serenity that paints the skies. Yet, He called us—humans—His most beautiful creation.

Why? Perhaps, it is because the mountains do not know awe. The oceans roar but they do not feel. The stars shine but they do not speak of Him. The animals obey but they do not praise their creator.

But us? We witness the beauty and sing it's praises. We are the ones who gaze at these creations and recognize their artist. We feel the softness of His mercy, the weight of grief, the joy of wonder and in all of it, we remember Him.

We are not the most beautiful because of our form but because we can see the beauty in His creation. Because we were given the heart that feels, the eyes that weep and the soul that returns.
