Poetry

Living on borrowed time,
Is one drop of a tear even relevant,
When you have to traverse an ocean?
It's time to move on-
Not time to quit.

The pain will stay,
The scars will never go away,
But allow the wound to heal.
Troubled heart, don't you worry -
What once was, shall become twice as good!

Precious the time whiled away,
Enormous the sum of effort,
To recall the unerasable.
Energy dissipates leaving no trail:
Misery its only sediment.

If that, like a coursing river,
Flowed into the work that was put away,
The burden wouldn't have had to be borne.
Spend your time wisely,
Remember: the river does not rest.

Excellence leaves its inscription on stone,
As the river flows on with time,
Leaving no room for quitting.
No stagnant water flows
In the river of success,
The ceaseless river of life.
