That’s Not True

21

Prose

No, that’s not true.
She’s the most wonderful person I know. She’s so successful, ambitious, passionate, and so driven. She’s goal-oriented, she knows exactly what she wants - and she’ll chase it, no matter what.

And even though she travels often and owns expensive things, she’s humble, kind, and has the best sense of humour. She’s the best friend anyone could ever have.
Sure, she can be sensitive at times and take jokes seriously - but only because she cares so much. Sometimes she gives so much love that she forgets who she is, just to remind others how amazing they are. And she’ll stand up for her friends, even if it means looking bad in front of others.

She’s such a badass - doesn’t care what others think about her and just goes for it. She knows what she wants and will get it done, no matter the circumstances.
She’ll ask the teacher the same question without feeling embarrassed.
She’ll text a million times a just to remind you she’s still there.
She’ll write her heart out, without caring what others will think.
She’ll yap for hours about her favourite cricket team and never miss a single record - even if she gets outsmarted sometimes.

But most importantly, she’s at peace being alone - not because she has to, but because she chooses herself.
Even when her closest friends leave, she’d rather be alone than force herself to belong where she doesn’t.
In fact, she’s the epitome of greatness and authenticity in a world where everyone else is just pretending.
