Poetry
Chaos hidden behind a beautiful smile,
Chatter all along, silent for a while...
Anxiety won over all the good things done,
Yesterday, they were all, today there is no one...
Journey of confused days, constant breakdown and sleepless nights...
Overthinking climbs at top, a not so pleasant sight...
Trembling hands, stammering voice,
Where do I run,
Everywhere lies a noise.
Noise that I don't want to hear,
Words that I never said, but I always fear
Of silent whispers and ephemeral moments to shine,
Whom do I blame, surroundings or dopamine?
Delusions on rise, realities continue to fall,
Emotions at extremes, hope and despair ready for a brawl...
Within the walls of confidence, emerges an earthquake of self-doubt,
No time for an SOS, No time to scream my heart out
Just when everything starts to crumble, all things collapsing down.
Arise a light from afar, bringing the long awaited renown
Affirmations take the centre stage,
Meditations over every rage,
Peace answering every why?
Thoughts gets clear, no more cloudy sky...
Confidence continues to bloom,
Words find their voice, no more verbal gloom...
Calmness kills the undermining mole,
Compass accompanies the lost soul...
A practice, turned into a habit,
Turns the table around.
A dedication so profound,
Brings back smile behind the frown...
Achievements on all pending tasks,
A sense of satisfaction within, no validations to ask.
And when you look into the mirror again,
Appears someone,
A true reflection, the real you,
Someone without a Mask...
