Seeds of Desire
8
Poetry
All our desires are heard in the air,
existence is patient, it’s always there.
Like seeds in the soil, hidden from sight,
they take their own time to grow into light.
Karma is faithful, it never forgets,
it carries the harvest of what one begets.
Plant hatred and thorns will cover the ground,
but kindness grows trees where love will abound.
Yet wishes come true when we loosen our hold,
when we stop grasping, the treasure unfolds.
For only in silence, desire set free,
can life bear the fruit that was destined to be.
