Being prim and proper was a placebo Hayley had on for people
When in reality
She craved flesh and blood,
She adored the world
with all its glory
With all its gore and gruesome reality
Bricks and mortar , she gathered
To build an armour ,
To protect herself from the
Trials and tribulations of the human race
Hemmed and hawed were the edges of her persona
So that people could only see her tailored personality
Her life’s deal was signed and sealed
For she was promised to a king
Her crime was curiosity
And her punishment was , Marriage at 16

The cause and effect of her forced marriage
Resulted in her death through domestic abuse
The girl who couldn’t stop talking about life ,
Was no longer alive.
