Demystifying versatility

Prose

From a 6year old who was determined to become a doctor so that she can buy more clips & sarees to a 12year old who aimed to be an airhostess so that she could wear high heels, makeup and short skirt to a 15year old who wanted to become a nurse like all her aunties & live a family life too to a 17year old sitting in NEET UG Coaching centre juggling 12th boards, neet UG mock tests & school life & now finally a MBBS graduate, life took so much twists and turns for me. I never played with doctor set. Growing up every year I had different ambitions & then i cracked neet in 2nd attempt after rigorous 1year drop year coaching taken at Brilliant study centre ,Pala ,Kottayam by Meenachil river, the river in Arundhati Roy's God of Small Things. For her the river bought good memories of Estha & Rahel while for me it bought memories of late night study sessions, Monday class test, pazhampori (banana fritters), poppins candy we ate to drive away afternoon slumber & innumerable cry sessions after getting less marks. Everything, every event, every move one makes in life feels worthwhile at the end
