Campus@360 : Weaving Between The Lines
Jeremy Varghese
Poetry
When Paradise Left Me
I wandered lonely lost in thought,
With foliage, flora and fauna festering about
Tightly wound, in its perilous grip caught
Hoping to find her amidst the raging bout
The rains lashed, the winds laughed
Deceiving my eyes with softened wool
And an apple imbued with serpentine craft
Whispering towards me “ Don’t be a fool”
Wisdom was never my goal; Eden alone it was
Unbridled love, created from within, my only care
Hope was leaving the ground, when the word spoke against my loss,“She is the garden there”
