Campus@360 : Weaving Between The Lines

Harsh Prakash Nare

Prose

She stood before us her eyes filled with a mixture of sorrow and courage. The silence in room was heavy as though the walls themselves are listening to what she was about to say. None of us dare to interrupt for we knew that what she carried was not just words but a weight that had been pressing on her for too long.

With a trembling voice, she recounted the hardships - the betrayal of friends she once trusted, the long nights spent fighting battles alone, and the countless times she had to choose silence over justice. Each word painted a picture darker than the last, and we felt the sting of her pain as if it were our own.

Tears welled in the eyes, but she did not falter. Instead, she took a deep breath and unwrapped the final truth, one she had kept hidden for years. And in that moment, when the last piece of her story fell into place, we finally understood, she paused, pointed towards the remnants of what had once been her dream, and said in a voice that would haunt us forever- "see how bad it was”
