Vidya Balan is a leading Indian actor, celebrated for her pioneering roles which helped to change the representation of women in Hindi cinema. She has represented Indian cinema as a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival. She has won universal acclaim for her wide repertoire of films from The Dirty Picture, Paa, Tumhari Sulu, to most recently Do Aur Do Pyaar and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3; as well as OTT productions like Shakuntala Devi, Sherni and Jalsa.
