Sudhakar Solomonraj is a professor of political science at Wilson College, Mumbai an active nature conservation educator and conservationist, and an environmental health advocate. He is also one of the founding members of the Wilson College Nature Club. For the last four decades, he has organised nature camps across the country in an effort to make the Nature Club members fall in love with and protect India’s wilderness. He has been associated with the Silent Valley Movement and the Narmada Bachao Andolan. Sanctuary Asia awarded him the ‘Green Teacher’ award in 2010.
