Payal Kapadia studied English Literature at St Xavier's College, Mumbai, and earned an M.Sc. degree (Journalism) from Northwestern University, USA. She has written for news outlets in the United States, Hong Kong, Japan, and India. Her debut novella 'Wisha Wozzariter' won the 2013 Crossword Book Award for Children's Writing and is in the 101 Indian Children's Books We Love! compilation. Her latest book 'Woebegone's Warehouse of Words' is a fantasy for all ages about the power of our words and our stories.
