Wonderfully Blue
Amishi Shah
Mornings, in a city freshly washed
Gin with fresh berries squash
Your fingers as they glide through water
The eyes of your ex-lover
Bellflowers peeping through the grassland
The depth beyond the beach sand
Jazz and cigars
The canvas for a million little stars
And the door left ajar
