IT'S NOT TOO LATE
Kaab Gazdar
Millions and millions of light years away
Once existed beings fashioned out of clay
Simple creatures, struggling day by day
On planet Earth in the galaxy Milky Way
Provided with gifts beyond mere comprehension
Man ruled the world with utter perfection
Unchallenged they scaled heights without hesitation
And delved deeper discovering the tunnels of invention
The passage of time found curiosity creeping
Into the humanity's genius hastily seeping
Igniting a chain of monumental reaping
Of thoughts and ideas worth safekeeping
Despite the superior intellect, the creatures had flaws
Since the beginning of time chased by ignoble claws
Invisible yet ferocious, a sin that draws
Towards man's downfall and Satan's applause
Falling prey to it they abandoned the ways
Of peacefulness, lost in a treacherous maze
Greed and envy gave them an unbeatable chase
And rueful tickets to the hellish blaze
Goodness remained but it was a dying trait
A bloody battleground was the poor planet's fate
Falsehood, a virus, spread at an alarming rate
Love and modesty did drastically abate
The wrath of the God descended then
Chaos reigned the lost mind's of men
Doors of repentance closed firmly when
Mankind had misused the priceless gift of ken
Of man and Earth that was the end
Similarly tangled we are my friend
It's not too late for our ways to be mend
Lest in regret a cursed eternity we spend
