Arun Fulara is a Mumbai-based writer and a screenwriter in Hindi Films, who dreams of hills. Annual trips to his native hills of Kumaon, Uttarakhand, led to a life-long fascination with the Himalayan world and its people. This love has manifested itself in stories such as ‘The Leopard of Bageshwar’, which won an Honourable Mention in a short story contest by Juggernaut and ‘Shera’, which was first made as a short film and then into a graphic book for children. His other short films have travelled to festivals across the world.
